West Sound Partners for Ecosystem Recovery (WSPER) serves as the lead entity for salmon recovery and local integrating organization for Puget Sound ecosystem recovery in West Sound.

Salmon Recovery

WSPER Lead Entity is one of 25 watershed-based organizations in Washington State created to administer a local process to identify and develop salmon recovery strategies and projects that are citizen supported and technically and scientifically endorsed.

Puget Sound Recovery

WSPER Local Integrating Organization (LIO) is one of ten Puget Sound forums where local people collaborate to develop, coordinate, and implement strategies and actions to protect and recover Puget Sound.
